ボーカル／作詞／作曲／編曲／楽器演奏／ミックス／アートワーク／MVなどを手掛ける。

2003年 慶應義塾大学商学部商学科卒業
2020年発売、bias名義の1st Album 「last milk」 はiTunes オルタナティブチャート トップアルバム（日本）45位。
以前のバンド「Pink The Shell」では東名阪ツアー、ワンマンライブを経験し、1st mini Album「スターヒル」がスマッシュヒット。
その後「根本啓一郎」として、クラシック畑のメンバーとライブを数多く開催。
また、2006-2008年頃にリハーサルを行わず、音源製作をPCで完結する新感覚ロックユニット「ニジノダンガン」を結成。
映像的な作品が持ち味で多数の映画での楽曲使用や、人気投票で勝ち抜いた沖縄ライブ、17曲入りCDがヨーロッパ圏で一時話題となる。
2011年 3.11を受け、根本啓一郎名義として配信リリースした「平和」は細海魚プロデュース。

経費以外の収益全額と関連ライブ収益全額を被災地への寄付を行う。
2022年8月にイギリスThe Half Moonにてアコースティックライブを敢行。
2022年12月にXmasと戦争がテーマの楽曲「奇跡」を聞いて、世界各国の方に描いて頂いたイラストや絵本を毎日SNSで投稿し、同時期に立ち上げたクラウドファンディングで266000円を集め、絵本を製作し、経費以外の全てをウクライナ大使館に寄付を行った。読売新聞に2日にわたり記事掲載。
2024年、ご卒業の保育園児、ご両親へ向けて「いつのまに」製作。
お子様には合唱、ご両親には合唱とヴィオラ、ホルン、ヴァイオリンの演奏を依頼しました。レコーディング当日はMVも制作し、園児とご両親の素敵な笑顔があふれる作品となった。
Singer-songwriter, Keiichiro Nemoto from Tokyo who does almost all artistic activities by himself, including vocals, lyrics, composition, arrangement, mixing, playing instruments, artwork and music video etc. He graduated from Keio High School in1999 and graduated from Keio University in 2003. 1st album ‘last milk’ which was under the name of ‘bias’ released in 2020 reached #45 on the iTunes alternative charts in Japan. In his previous band, Pink The Shell, he toured Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and had a one-man show, and their first mini album ‘Star Hill’ made the charts. Later, as ‘Keiichiro Nemoto’, he held many live performances with members from the classical field. At the same time, he formed a new rock unit called ‘Niji no dangan’, which didn’t hold rehearsals but used only a PC to complete songs around 2006 to 2008 and performed live in Okinawa as a prize for winning a popularity contest. The music of Niji no dangan has a beautiful soundscape like a movie and has been used in several movies, and their CD including 17 songs became popular in Europe. In response to The Great East Japan earthquake on 11th March 2011, he released ‘Heiwa’ as Keiichiro Nemoto, which was produced by Sakana Hosomi. It reached #30 on the iTunes alternative charts. All proceeds except for expenses and live performances related to this song were donated to the disaster area. In August 2022, performed an acoustic live concert at The Half Moon in the UK. In December 2022, he posted illustrations and picture books drawn by people from all over the world after hearing his song ‘Kiseki’, which is about Xmas and war, on SNS every day, raised 266000 yen through crowdfunding launched at the same time, produced a picture book and donated everything except expenses to the Ukrainian Embassy in Japan. An article was posted in the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper in Japan for two days. In 2024 He wrote a song, “Before You Know It?” for the nursery school children who graduated and their parents for trying to make good memories for them. Children sung chorus and the parents sung chorus and played viola, horn, and violin. He also made a music video on the day of recording, and it turned out to be a work full of wonderful smiles of the children and their parents.
